With the recent departure of my macbook pro, i have become a "PC". I always knew which side of the "i'm a mac - i'm a PC" ad's. My website applepirate has turned into a moniker at this point. I have even been called Captain Apple by a brunette or two.
But now im back to square one. I'm learning my a$$ off about linux and a bunch of programming languages that i never wanted to learn. I was a die hard mac user that used Adobe and Macromedia(RIP) products. Now.... im using Quanta Plus to edit text files on a copy of the gOS.
Free.... ALL FREE!!! I have always been a fan of the Open Source concept and all the app's it creates for the world wide blob. Now im actually making money building HTML websites off of a 5 year old Sony VAIO that has a busted video card and a free operating system.
Torrenting e-books like a mad man is fun stuff. I have collected 6.8gigs of ebook goodness in a matter of two days. Kinda makes me want a special ebook reader.
so... enough blogging for now, back to "PHP & MYSQL for dummies"
